2026 RCEP Local Governments and Friendship Cities Cooperation (Huangshan) Forum

MCBC participated in the 2026 RCEP Local Governments and Friendship Cities Cooperation (Huangshan) Forum from 27-29 May in Huangshan, Anhui, co-organised by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Anhui Provincial Government. Malaysia was designated Guest Country of Honour, reflecting the strong bilateral diplomatic and economic momentum. MCBC anchored a dedicated booth within the Malaysian Pavilion, showcasing Malaysian brands and investment opportunities. The Malaysian contingent was led by YB Senator Tan Sri Dato Low Kian Chuan in his dual capacity as MCBC Chairman and Senator, alongside Dato’ Tan Tian Meng, Executive Director & Chief Executive of MCBC. The Dewan Negara delegation was led by YB Senator Datuk Nur Jazlan bin Tan Sri Mohamed, Deputy President of the Senate of Malaysia, accompanied by YB Senator Dato’ Sri Vell Paari a/l Tun Samy Vellu and YB Senator Mrs Tiew Way Keng.
