MCBC Delegation Attends the 4th CISCE and Economic Forums in Beijing (21–24 June 2026)

Led by MCBC Chairman YB Senator Tan Sri Dato’ Low Kian Chuan, alongside MCBC Directors Dato’ Quek Ngee Meng and Mr Teoh Kok Lin, the Malaysia–China Business Council (MCBC) delegation visited Beijing from 21 to 24 June 2026 to attend the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) and its series of economic forums, connecting Malaysian industry with regional supply-chain opportunities.

Key highlights include:

APEC China CEO Forum 2026 (21 June): The delegation attended the forum, which convened global chief executives under the theme “Openness · Connectivity · Synergy: Linking the Asia-Pacific for a Shared Future.”

4th CISCE Welcoming & Networking Banquet (21 June): The delegation attended the dinner hosted by CCPIT, providing an early platform to renew ties with Chinese counterparts, ASEAN, and international partners.

4th CISCE Opening Ceremony (22 June): The delegation joined the official opening of the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE)—the world’s first national-level expo dedicated to supply-chain integration—and toured the exhibition halls.

The ASEAN Supply Chain Cooperation Exchange Meeting (22 June): Chairman YB Senator Tan Sri Dato’ Low Kian Chuan delivered an address focused on accelerating cross-border industrial and supply chain integration across the broader region.

2026 Belt and Road Trade and Investment Forum (23 June): Chairman YB Senator Tan Sri Dato’ Low Kian Chuan delivered a keynote address on creating the new pattern for a shared future, while Director Mr Teoh Kok Lin participated as a panellist sharing tech supply chain insights.

Bilateral Meeting with CCPIT (23 June): The MCBC delegation held a productive bilateral meeting with Mr Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), to reaffirm their commitment to deepening MCBC-CCPIT cooperation.

Second General Assembly of ICDPASO & High-Level Conference on Supply Chain Compliance and Dispute Prevention (24 June): Director Dato’ Quek Ngee Meng delivered an address on behalf of MCBC, emphasizing that effective dispute prevention rests on building trust across differing legal traditions and commercial expectations, and proposed a five-pillar multicultural dispute-prevention framework.

Through these CISCE-related platforms, MCBC continues to reinforce its role in connecting Malaysian industry with high-value Chinese and regional supply-chain opportunities under ACFTA 3.0 and RCEP.
